Success Stories & Impact
Real Lives. Real Change.
At SMADO, our projects create tangible, lasting impacts in the communities we serve. Here are some of the success stories that inspire us every day:
📍 Turkana, Kenya
Before SMADO’s intervention, hundreds of families in Turkana relied on unsafe water sources, leading to frequent waterborne diseases. Today, through our clean water initiative, we have drilled boreholes and installed water purification systems, providing over 5,000 people with safe drinking water.
📍Lodwar, Kenya
Through scholarships and school-building projects, SMADO has empowered hundreds of children with access to quality education. In 2024, we funded the construction of a new classroom block, allowing 120 more students to attend school.
📍 West Pokot, Kenya
By providing microfinance loans and vocational training, SMADO has helped over 200 women start their own businesses, leading to financial independence and improved livelihoods.
